Bangalore-Mysore–Ooty–Kodaikanal–Coimbatore

Tamil Nadu, a South Indian state, is famed for its Dravidian-style Hindu temples. In Madurai, Meenakshi Amman Temple has high ‘gopuram’ towers ornamented with colourful figures. On Pamban Island, Ramanathaswamy Temple is a pilgrimage site. The town of Kanyakumari, at India’s southernmost tip, is the site of ritual sunrises.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Bangalore

Arrive Bangalore pick up from Airport / Railway station, and transfer to the hotel. Free & leisure or explore the hotel. Overnight stay at Bangalore.

Day 02: Bangalore

After breakfast proceed for a sightseeing tour of Bangalore, Bull temple to view the awesome monolithic deity which draws devotees from all over the country Vidhan Sudha, Lal Bagh, Central Library and the famous Museum and Cubbon Park. Evening walk around the city and time for shopping.  Overnight stay at Bangalore.

Day 03: Bangalore- Mysore

After breakfast check – out from hotel and drive to Mysore (140 km / 04 hrs). En route visit Srirangaptnam – the 18th century, Summer Palace of Tipu Sultan. Arrive and transfer to hotel. Afternoon city sightseeing tour including the Palace of Maharaja of Mysore.  Evening visit the Devaraja flower market. Overnight stay at Mysore.

Day 04: Mysore

After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing in and around Mysore – the city is situated at a distance of 139 Km to the south – west of Bangalore. Mysore is one of the most beautiful, calm and quiet city offering many attractions. Place of interest: Chamarajendra Art Gallery, Mysore Zoo, St. Philomena’s Church, World famous Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hills, Brindavan Gardens which is famous for musical color fountains located near KSR dam. Overnight stay at Mysore.

Day 05: Mysore –Ooty

After breakfast check – out from hotel and drive to Ooty (130 km/ 3 hrs) – the “Queen of Hill Stations” nestled in the Nilgiri range and popularity known as Ooty, A Britisher Mr. John Sullivan discovered Ooty in 1821; the sheer grandeur of this romantic city is enough to drain anyone out. Arrive and transfer to hotel and rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at Ooty.

Day 06: Ooty

Morning proceeds for half day tour of the Botanical Gardens and the Museum with the numerous varieties of ornamental trees and plants is an attraction for all tourists. One can see the best profiles of nature, each embedded with a distinctive grandeur. It’s the majestic waterfalls, never – ending forests and beautiful tea gardens, lush green meadows, placid lake, manicured golf courses that are really spellbinding and the Nilgiri Mountain Railway in Ooty, an extension to the UNSECO World Heritage Site of Darjeeling Himalayan Railway is a must, those who visit Ooty. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 07: Ooty – Kodaikanal

After breakfast check – out from hotel and drive to Kodai (260 Km/ 06- 07 hrs) arrive and transfer to hotel. Evening free for Leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 09: Kodaikanal – Coimbatore (Departure)

After breakfast check – out from hotel and drive to Coimbatore (180km/04 – 05 hrs) Airport / Railway in time to connect your departure flight.
